Limits worth stating: review platforms verify reviewers loosely, vendors campaign for reviews, and some review pages block automated access - so treat every quote here as a pointer to read the source, not a substitute for it. Ratings cited were current as of July 2026.

Skip the 5-star reviews and the 1-star revenge posts. The 2-3 star reviews are where users describe the failure mode you will actually live with.

LinearB reviews split harder than any other vendor's. Advocates cite gitStream workflow automation as genuinely unique. The sharpest criticism comes from senior reviewers on data quality - one CTO's Capterra review rated it 1/5, calling it "an expensive waste of my time" with "data accuracy issues customer support was unable to understand." Metrics you cannot trust are worse than no metrics, and accuracy complaints from CTOs deserve weight regardless of the average score.

Allstacks earns respect for delivery forecasting - and its most consistent complaint is data freshness. A TrustRadius reviewer summarized the daily-only sync as "fine for weekly planning but not much help when you need to make mid-sprint decisions."
