“Almost a third of our PRs were just sitting there waiting on the same two reviewers... the difference was noticeable within a couple weeks.”
Robert Striker, VP of Engineering at Article Fiesta

A 150-engineer team that loses a fifth of its cycle time to review queues has roughly 15 engineers of capacity tied up in waiting. At $75 an hour that is about $2.3M a year. Finding it costs $349 a month.

Running a larger engineering org?

Enterprise starts at $2,999/month for orgs above 400 active developers, on an annual invoice. It is still one flat price - never per seat - and adds a security review and documentation, an SLA with priority support, and custom data retention and volume.

What Engineering Leaders Discovered

Nick Daniels, CPO & Founder, AlliantsAlliants
Real numbers the same afternoon
“We connected CodePulse to our GitHub org and had real numbers the same afternoon. For the first time I can see where delivery actually slows down across our teams, not just that it slowed down. It has changed the conversations we have in leadership meetings.”

31% of PRs idle - redistributed within weeks
“I'd been telling the CTO we were slow because of tech debt. Turns out almost a third of our PRs were just sitting there waiting on the same two reviewers. We redistributed reviews and the difference was noticeable within a couple weeks.”

Review time: ~3 days → same-day
“Our retros used to be a blame game - everyone had a theory, nobody had receipts. Now I just pull up the dashboard and it's right there. We found out review turnaround was almost three days on average. Got it down to same-day once we actually saw it.”

Your bill does not grow when you hire

Business is one flat price per organization, whatever your headcount. A per-contributor tool charges the same rate for your two-hundredth engineer as for your twentieth, so its bill rises every time you hire and ours does not.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my engineers resist this?

CodePulse measures teams and systems, not individuals. Ranking and comparing individuals sits behind an organization-level setting that is off by default, so nobody is scored against a colleague unless you deliberately turn it on. A 2024 peer-reviewed study in Communications Psychology (Schlund and Zitek) found people who believed an algorithm was monitoring them complained far more than those under human oversight, perceived less autonomy, and generated fewer ideas.

What happens if we go over the active-developer limit?

Nothing breaks and nothing is billed automatically. We count developers who actually contributed in the last 30 days, so the number moves on its own as your team's activity changes. If you are consistently above your plan's limit we tell you in the app, and you choose whether to move up a tier.

If we downgrade, do we lose our history?

Your data is not deleted, but the window you can see shrinks to the new plan's retention - a year on Business, six months on Pro, two weeks on Free. Move back up and the longer window returns for the history we still hold.

What happens after my trial ends?

Connecting a work organization starts a 14-day trial with Pro-level limits - up to 50 active developers and six months of retained history. When it ends you move to the Free plan automatically. No credit card at any point, and you can upgrade whenever you are ready.

How are monthly active developers counted?

We count unique developers who have created PRs, submitted reviews, or made commits in the last 30 days. Bot accounts are excluded. This means you only pay for developers who are actively contributing to your codebase.

Do you charge per developer (per seat)?

No. Pricing is flat per organization - we never bill per seat. Each plan covers a band of monthly-active developers, so hiring inside your band doesn't change your price at all. You only move when you outgrow the band, and we tell you before you do.

Can I change plans later?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll have immediate access to new features. When downgrading, you'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

How does billing work - can we pay annually or by invoice?

Paid plans are billed by card, monthly or annually (annual saves up to 25%). There's no long-term contract - cancel anytime and keep access through the end of your billing period. For annual or larger-organization purchases that need an invoice or purchase order, get in touch.

What does data history mean?

Data history is how far back you can view your metrics and analytics in the app. Free covers the last 14 days, Pro the last 180 days (about 6 months), and Business the last 365 days (a full year). Upgrading widens the window and unlocks your earlier history.

Is my code secure?

Absolutely. Your code stays yours: we never clone your repository or read your files. We read PR, commit and review metadata, plus the short snippet GitHub attaches to an inline review comment. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.Learn more about our security practices.
