We use read-only OAuth access to GitHub. We read pull request metadata, commit history, and review activity. Your code stays yours: we never clone your repository or read your files. The only code we store is the short snippet GitHub attaches to an inline review comment, which is how we measure review quality. We never receive secrets, environment variables, or write permissions, and you can revoke access at any time from your GitHub settings.

Installing the CodePulse app on a work GitHub organization usually needs an owner's approval. Start the connection either way: if approval is needed, we give you a link to send to an owner, and your setup resumes the moment they approve. You do not need to be an admin to begin, and nothing is synced until the install is approved.

The price does not move with your headcount. Paid plans are one flat price per organization rather than per contributor or per seat, so hiring is a non-event on the bill - which is the opposite of how most of this category prices. Yes! CodePulse works with both public and private repositories. The OAuth permissions work the same way - we only access the repositories you explicitly choose to connect, and we maintain the same strict read-only access and encryption standards.

You have full control. You can delete all your organization's data with one click from the settings page. You can also revoke OAuth access directly from GitHub (Settings > Applications > Authorized OAuth Apps). Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems.
